It is commonly accepted that the most ideal and exclusive spots for any vacations is a beautiful, remote yet fully stocked island. Tanzania is home to some of the largest areas of protected land with close to 38 percent of its total land area set aside for conservation. It is home to 16 national parks and 29 game reserves, making it an ideal location for tourists looking to enjoy African wildlife and vegetation in a serene and picturesque location.
The world-famous Serengeti National Park is a national park located in the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara regions of Tanzania. It is most popular for the yearly migration of more than one million wildebeest and a quarter of a million zebra. The Serengeti National Park is also home to a large number of other wildlife including crocodiles and badgers. The Tarangire National Park is situated in the Manyara region of Tanzania. It gets its name from the river which bisects the park and it is the main source of fresh water for all animals in its particular ecosystem and as such, it is home to thousands of animals during the typically dry parts of the African dry season. The Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest in Tanzania, covering about 2850 square kilometers of land. Despite its size, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tanzania with an average of one hundred and sixty thousand visitors every year.
The Lake Manyara National Park is situated in the Manyara region in Tanzanua and is home to the 200 km soda lake in the rainy season. The Lake Manyara National Park is home to numerous species of animals including the Masai Giraffe, the African bush elephants, and more than 400 different bird species, making it an ideal location for birdwatchers and tourists from all over the world.
