There are a lot of mountains and hills on our planet, but not all of them will always give your desires in hiking. Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa. As much as it is very tall, it is a doable feat for every hiker and even complete beginners. You however have to protect yourself from acute mountain sickness and for your body to acclimatise to this environment you need at least an 8 to 10-day climb. To make you ascent a lot more fun you need to make your trip slightly longer. With its ideal height and terrain, there is absolutely no doubt that every hiker will always fall in love with Mount Kilimanjaro.
Mount Kenya, Kenya
Not very far from Kilimanjaro, there is Mount Kenya that also has everything a hiker expects from a mountain. Based on heights, Mount Kenya is always overlooked in favour of Kilimanjaro. But the reality is that this mountain offers greater range of climbing activities and cute sceneries than Kilimanjaro. The mountain’s triple peaks are truly magnificent. It has an awesome inclination that gives a sweet challenge as you climb. At its peak, Lenana, you will have a beautiful view of how the sun rises and sets.
Mount Kinabalu, Borneo
This is ideally a 2-day climb that will give you one of your most memorable adventures in hiking. On day one its majorly an ascent that ends at Laban Rata Lodge where you can spend your night to rejuvenate yourselF. At day break you head out for the next 800 meters to the summit to watch the sun as it rises. The bare rock scenery at this mountains peak is magical, and as the sun sets, the temperatures plummet and warm clothing is necessary.
Kangchenjunga Circuit, Himalayas
Kangchenjunga is the third highest peak in the world. It sits between Nepal, India and Tibet. To get to this mountain you need to travel across beautiful sceneries and natural features making it an ideal point for adventurers. The Kangchenjunga circuit stretches from North base camp via Mirgin La. This route runs through the tropical jungle in to the cute rhododendron forests. The deeper you move up the more beautiful this place becomes. You will come across a range of nice peaks like Tent peak, Jannu and Gimmigela.
Angels landing, Utah, US
This is normally a day’s trip packed with energy and adventure. While the trek is not always too demanding, the Angels landing has rocks that stick vertically that creates a perception of exposure to a bizarre.
